I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! Where did you purchase them?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a solid deal going on.
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were at my door by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
How expensive are they?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.

Do they fit as expected?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They required minimal break-in time..
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.
